Shaguna Seth

Shaguna Seth is a business and technology executive who drives and strategizes operational execution and performance by building cohesive scientific and leadership teams. She has over 20 years of experience in translational research, pharmaceutical development, and program management. Shaguna was most recently the Interim Site Head and VP of Process Development at AGC Biologics, where she led numerous tech transfer programs from early stage to late stage and BLA/Commercial. She also served as the Senior Director, Program Management for the Seattle site. Prior to AGC Biologics, Shaguna held several leadership roles as Head of Pharmaceutical development and Program Management at Sporos Therapeutics and VP of Pharmacology and Toxicology and Pharmaceutical Development at Marina Biotech and Nastech Pharmaceuticals.

Shaguna has over 30 patents targeting a variety of disease areas covering oncology, metabolic diseases, and infectious diseases. Her technical expertise lies in process development, technology transfer, pharmacology and toxicology in biologics, combination devices, and the RNA therapeutics domains.

Shaguna holds a Ph.D. in microbiology and cell biology from the Indian Institute of Science, India and a master’s degree in genetics from the University of Delhi, India.
