Julie Stiff brings a wealth of expertise in operations and project management to her dual role as Interim Site Head and Senior Director of Facilities & Engineering at KBI Biopharma's Boulder, Colorado facility. Julie is an influential leader known for her ability to build and empower teams, foster collaboration, and drive accountability and delivery. Deeply connected to the local community, Julie actively participates in professional societies, business groups, and advisory committees. She is a passionate promoter of sustainability initiatives and a dedicated advocate for women in STEM. Julie's expertise lies predominately in engineering and project management, particularly in facility operations (microbial, mammalian, and gene therapy), capital project and portfolio management, operational program management, GxP systems, and engineering design. Prior to joining KBI, Julie led high-performing teams at Amgen, APECS, Inc., Novartis, and cGMPnow. 
 
Julie holds a BS in Architectural Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder and is a Colorado Registered Professional Engineer with the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).
