Julie Stiff

Senior VP, Site Head – Boulder, CO, United States  

Julie Stiff brings a wealth of experience to her role as Site Head of KBI’s Boulder, Colorado facility. Her expertise lies predominately in engineering and project management, facility operations (microbial, mammalian, and gene therapy), capital project and portfolio management, operational program management, GxP systems, and engineering design. Julie originally joined KBI as Senior Director of Facilities & Engineering in August 2022. Prior to joining KBI, Julie led high-performing teams at Amgen, APECS, Inc., Novartis, and cGMPnow. Julie is an influential leader known for her ability to build and empower teams, foster collaboration, and drive accountability and delivery. Deeply connected to the local community, she actively participates in professional societies, business groups, and advisory committees. She is a passionate promoter of sustainability initiatives and a dedicated advocate for women in STEM.  

Julie holds a BS in Architectural Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder and is a Colorado Registered Professional Engineer with the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).
